The CBR project will reduce GHG emissions by approximately 5.1megatonnes (Mt) per year in Alberta. This is equivalent to displacing over 1,000,000 cars from the road.

TR´s scope of the work, in partnership with Ledcor, includes the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning for the installation of two assigned MHPS 501JAC gas turbines and their corresponding heat recovery steam generators and all the related auxiliary systems for its interconnection with the utilities system of Suncor´s Oil Sands Base Plant. The cogeneration plant will replace the three existing coke fired boilers with two new state of the art GT-HRSG trains. The CBR project will reduce GHG emissions by approximately 5.1megatonnes (Mt) per year in Alberta. This is equivalent to displacing over 1,000,000 cars from the road.
