PROJECT OBJECTIVE:
SASA POLYESTER awards Técnicas Reunidas the execution of the project for a new PTA (purified terephthalic acid) production plant to be carried out in Adana, Turkey. SASA has announced that the project involves a total investment of <1,000 millions. The contract awarded to Técnicas Reunidas represents the first step in an ambitious investment plan by SASA POLYESTER in petrochemicals in Turkey. This project confirms the credentials of Técnicas Reunidas in the design and construction of PTA plants, a product of which new investments are expected in the short term, both in Turkey and in other countries and regions.
